I think Elliott for Fas & Wells for Aish are both substantial downgrades. I suspect Schade will replace Goldsack as yet another downgrade. We can still win next week but we will be substantially weaker than the team that took to the field at Domain stadium on Sunday. To be honest I'd be surprised if any of Elliott, Wells or Goldy were back within 4 weeks. Hopefully we see Reid & Varcoe back after the bye. Keep playing with the running attacking mindset & I'll be happy. Liking Crisp & Sidey off half back as well. Good moves. 3 wins in a row just about qualifies as a roll, but 4 makes it official.

whilst it will be great to beat Melbourne. I think that I'd rather give an extra weeks rest to to Varcoe / Elliott / Aish / Reid etc. going into the bye and then hit the 2nd half of the year. we have Port ( in melb )/ Hawks / Ess / GC / WC ( in Melb ) port is probably the hardest team in that lot given WC can't travel.

I was skeptical but hopeful. Now I'm hopeful first and skeptical second. If we make finals Buckley stays. You can certainly turn around and tell me I was wrong and you were right. Happy to cop my fair whack. I'll keep it in this thread.
