What stats besides blocks and steals (and rebounding?) actually show defensive capabilities? I wouldn't say Ibaka is the best but I'd put him top 10. Anyway, I was talking more about purely offensively that Westbrook is better than Rose (I also think he's a better defender). The greatest offensive that couldn't play defense > the greatest defensive player that couldn't play offense.

Rondo and Rose is a toss up. Rondo has proven he can be dominant in the playoffs.

Don't know what ortg, drtg, tov or usg is but I'll just assume they're unimportant but what Westbrook's stats this year tell me is he's 4 points away from being MVP. And my argument never really was Westbrook is a better player, that's just my opinion but my argument was at those that were like "lol?? Westbrook isn't even in the same league as Rose"

I guess... Put his PPG would increase by who knows how much. It's a credit to Westbrook that he is the highest scoring PG in the league despite having the 3 time scoring champ playing alongside him.

Being the highest scoring PG doesnt make him the best...

Westbrook is taking more shots per game than Durant this season, which is ridiculous. Should give the ball to Durant far more, and stop taking dumb shots every game. Then he would become a better player

How I rate the PG's

Rose>Paul>Rondo>Westbrook>Parker>Williams.

Lillard and Irving should push into this group soon.

Makes life a lil easier when you have one or two of the best players in the league on the court in terms of defensive assignment and floor spacing. Rusty has improved his game this season no doubt, especially his assist v TO numbers. Should ppg be the measure of a point guard tho?

CP3 is the best PG in the A, easily by my reckoning. Stats wise... schmats wise. Watch him play a game or three and tell me what he can't do on the court

Strange that you would say Rondo owns CP3 when Rondo can't hit a jumper to save his life (no disrespect nbaman but I'd take him maybe 4th or 5th on the PG list). Rondo can pass the ball like few can, but he's just not a big enough threat off the jumper.

No-one is disputing your right to have an opinion that say Rusty is better than Rose, most of us seem to disagree with that sentiment, but your avenue to justifying it is bordering on nonsensical.

Will Rose be back by the 24th of February? That's when OKC play the Bulls again. The 24th of February is also my birthday so Westbrook is due for a massive game in which he will destroy Rose and this argument will be put to bed.
