a audibly upset and agitated swans supporter berated kb and ralph this morning. upset he was about the apparent "defeatist" attitude towards the swans for the upcoming finals.
nek minnut "we love having our backs against the wall".

this can be applied to any sports team fan who becomes enraged because pundits aren't tipping his/her team, then in the same breath declare "oh yeah we love being the underdog".

I turned it off after the NAB guy's speech, zzzzzzzzzzzzzz. I'm not a fan of awards ceremonies at all though, don't even watch the Brownlow.

Really?.....Brownlow night is up there with my favorite day, Cup day.

I love seeing all the WAGs in their beautiful dresses, they would put Hollywood to shame most years........and the players scrub up to be easy on the eye as well.

I am curious to see the dresses but have a quick squiz online the next day as there are plenty of photo galleries of them (I actually struggle to find dresses I like though these days, a lot of them seem just to be designed to shock). I am of course interested to see who wins the Brownlow, but I find the whole drawn out process a snooze fest to watch.

Don't talk to me about Cup Day coverage and all the Lavazza tents etc. I don't really care about B grade celebs!

I definately agree with you about the coverage of Cup day and their damned D grade celebs.....but that's ch7 for you. Then there is Bruce McAvaney, ugh!!!!!!............but we love the horse racing side of it though.
