Scott Cooney makes me want to cut my ears off. If I had a dollar for every time I've heard him say 'ah' or 'aaaswell' I would be able to buy SEN and fire him.

I don't understand Scott Cooney's show. His mouth makes noises but no substance comes out. It's not boring, it's frustrating.

I honestly think the only reason they do it is because it could fill potentially 5 hours of airtime if you get a 5 setter.

They should send Smokey to the tennis to cover the matches. By the time he finished spitting out the first round scores the tournament would be done and dusted.

Not sure, but i don't recall him going softly softly on a whole range of topics, unlike Maher who too often sat on the fence for my liking.

I'm trying to. But with all the regular hosts starting back tomorrow they'll all want to have their say and I really don't want to hear it. But heading to the tennis tomorrow so I'll be able to avoid it.

Praise the Lord! It's a little frustrating because he actually works really well in conjunction with Benny or Teo (and Dash), but it's almost as if he's going through the motions every night after doing it for so long.

Looking forward to Francis and Ox - I hope they work in the mornings.

I think he's just trying to fill the time more than anything. It's hard to get guests on and the schedule isn't natural for anyone, he's probably just burnt out by now.

I agree, and I think it is pathetic. At least get someone who actually WANTS! to be there. Night shifts are not really strange these days and this guy gives absolutely no effort in entertainment or engagement.

Intriguing day today. I'll be watching the NFL play-offs instead. But it'll be interesting to see what the differences are with what segments the new shows produce.

Whether they are or not I am not going to get into, but for a commentator to use the term 'filthy cheats' made it sound like he was being overly emotional about the whole thing. Say they were cheating if you like but using the term 'filthy cheats' just made him sound irrational and that he was not giving a balanced subjective view of the situation. (He didn't just use it to describe the Essendon players either). And despite his arguments I do think there are some differences between an individual track and field athlete or cyclist (for example) taking PEDs and what went on at Essendon.

Culbert was definitely off the long run and had a jab at anyone remotely connected to the saga - Saddest thing is that Culbert's company is associated with some of the biggest cheats in sport - Let's list a few - 2009 World Athletic Championship, Cycling world Championships in 2010, Track Cycling World Championship in 2012 - Oh his company organised trips to the 2015 World athletics championship in Beijing and the 2017 event in London - Seems like Culbert is happy to line his pockets dealing with such entities - The hypocrisy.

Are you surprised - Nearly all in the legal fraternity were surprised at the verdict - The difference are legal people are usually measured and careful in their choice of language.

I'm sure he is very nice, and a hard worker. But most people can only judge him from his on air work.
