Had to turn it over Tuesday morning, Ox can go EAD.
They were talking about accuracy in front of goal, conversation got around to Levi Casboult.
Bit of discussion around why his kicking is not at a standard it should be when Ox blatantly blamed junior football coaches for the inefficiencies current day AFL players have. Quote "why didn't his junior coaches have the knackers to work on changing his kicking".
Was ****ing fuming, typical sideline wander blaming non paid volunteers who do it for the love of the game for a highly paid players kicking faults. Does this ****wit not understand the talent pathway, I.e. TAC Cup, Develeopment Squads, AFL Club coaching etc etc.
What a ****ing cop out. I'm an Under 16's coach who currently has kids in the Stingrays development squad. I've also got 6 past players currently playing in the Dandenong Stingrays TAC Cup squad and starring.
I've done the same AFL Coaches courses as the senior coaches, Level 3. I don't get paid and never have in 12 years of coaching junior football. I do it for the love of the game and because I like to see young players develop into great players. Our club has had 2 number 1 draftees in the last 5 years and is a great breeding ground.
I always thought Leach was the one that would eventually turn me off SEN, but I can't stand listening to that big dumb moron anymore. Back to Ross and John in the mornings for me.

Was on the phone almost before he finished the sentence. Was continuously engaged but the strange thing is they weren't playing calls on the air.
I assumed they had a stack of angry callers and took the phones off the hook.

The blokes an idiot.

TRH: Marko and Harf's voices are too similar and it sometimes takes me a few seconds until I work out which one is talking. If you have a duo on at the same time, they should sound completely different imo, it adds to the chemistry. Don't know why this annoys me but it just does.

I think his point was more about the fact some bad habits get learned from a very young age and are hard to iron out when ingrained for so long, when compared to Mason Cox who's picked the game up from scratch later in life as an all-round athlete and learned straight away at the top level. At least that's how I heard it anyway.

I think this is the podcast here:

Reports are that Casboult was a great kick as a youngin.

Maybe we will be spared more Carlos Alberto Diego on SEN if the Ralph Barba mentioned in today's Herald-Sun in the IBAC investigations is the one and the same.
He was my computer teacher in high school in the late 80s. :drunk:

He was an areshole.

im in the minority here.....i like the new MG. even with watson there. he's ego isnt stroked like it was with maher, and leach is a quality, professional presenter.

the segments they have - struggle bus, podium and poodium, and fantastic. they require the listener/called to think about about what to say as it needs context. before with the two idiot andys they just come up with a talking point and let it go. now, there is structure and a gameplan.

use of sound effects and sound bites is clever.

Waldron still making excuses and told bull face lie. He never took accountability of what happened
Yes he did, they were all doing it. He admitted they did it, but weren't the only , there was jealousy from the Northern clubs.
I hate the struggle bus and Carlos

no he didn't. he blamed everyone from the nrl to rebecca wilson for what went on when it all came out. he took accountability when he was looking for a job

What a refreshing episode of The Right Time, with Craig Harper in the chair.

As opposed to Finey (whose cringe worthiness forced me to ban the program) bangin' on with his self congratulatory claptrap, Craig Harper asked more incisive questions and allowed t'others the room to expand on their answers. Unlike dickhead who has to insert himself or his theories into every discussion
