Seeing as it is Finey hosting that hour, hopefully all of you who crack the sads at his position don't listen in.

Finey is going to make some interesting listening to tonight.
At 9pm, they'll have a whole hour on the Essendon thing.
So what did Finey have to say.

I wouldn't listen to him. He'll likely give someone a spray and call them all sorts. Usually he's great, but when it's something that'll likely get him angry, it's awful.
Those are some pretty significant drop-offs. It's as if there is some sort of massive before/after hours station boycott! Very odd.
Amazing call there by John? who called Finey out on the drugs saga.
Listen to the overnight guys, and to be honest I suppose the issue is done to death by then. There seems to be a culture at the station that certain issues are not to be spoken, and individuals not to be put offside.Probably because with all the essendon coverage and sen apologists the only program that is bearable to listen to currently is KB's (and overnights), as at least he has people from both sides of the AFL fence on his program plus guys like DC who have a good grounding on the drugs in sport issue.
I listened to him last night ( the first time in a while) he was great on the tragic shooting of Chris Lane.about to post the same thing...called him out, and his only response is the arbitrary distinction between afl and aussie rules.
i too have stopped listening to finey as much due to his soap box on the dons saga.
I listened to him last night ( the first time in a while) he was great on the tragic shooting of Chris Lane.
I agree entirely with him on America's lax gun laws and culture.
Then turned off when they reluctantly got on the Essendon issue.
It's a pity because I reckon Mark is easily the wittiest and best presenter at the station
Tragedy aside, does anyone else reckon it was a bit "me, me, me" of Finey to play the interview he did with the American station?I listened to him last night ( the first time in a while) he was great on the tragic shooting of Chris Lane.

I heard Harford this afternoon, and if you can't see that Tim Watson is heavily conflicted on this issue then you're in complete denial. Some at the station have looked after mates and the whole "Boys club" mentality has ensured
They've got no choice really. Defending the indefensibleThat's very safe ground though - most would agree on the gun issue
Fewer agree on his views regarding the EFC situation (I refuse to call it "saga")
Even Harf has started to remove the blinkers re Essendon
Are Essendon paying Finey?
"Viney" is typical of lots of footy media guys
EFC have a huge supporter bloc and people like MF are scared that any action against them could adversely affect the whole AFL edifice
