What a refreshing episode of The Right Time, with Craig Harper in the chair.

As opposed to Finey (whose cringe worthiness forced me to ban the program) bangin' on with his self congratulatory claptrap, Craig Harper asked more incisive questions and allowed t'others the room to expand on their answers. Unlike dickhead who has to insert himself or his theories into every discussion

Wasn't Finey on tonight? Why not?

They've moved the program to monthly on a wedsneday night during footy season. Thought it was the best so far, mainly due to thge manner in which Harper hosted the program. He's a bright lad who knows his stuff, and is obviously interested enough in the topic. He steered the direction of the hour really well

cmon bedford. why do you always jump to defend finey. it's nothing personal, on average i think all posters like his work at some stage, most all of the time. especially when sticking up for the fans.

but clubmedhurst has a point. it seemed to flow better without finey. craig harper is an expert in his field and just as polished in hosting.

i like segments that where the professionals are given time to breath and elaborate.

FWIW, I quite like Finey and find his Final Siren a must listen. However, regarding this particular program he's way outta his depth and often found floundering

Yeah, I went to the match with a buncha Tigers fans and my then pommy girlfriend. I apologised to her prior to the match, as I was expecting a massive win.

Spent the next 10 years livin' in the UK, and would be woken at godawful hours by the phone. Same bunch of Tiger's fans drunkenly screaming "Mother's day Massacre" down the phone when you'd invariably beat us.

Got my revenge on return.

Finey lost the plot last night with his rant against Dave Culbert's anti drugs views. Long story short reckons there is a huge difference between Lance Armstrongs drug regime and Essendon's. Really? both were systematic and both lied to ASADA/WADA investigators when questioned about said programs.
Also reckons that TB4 isnt performance enhancing - really? So Finey is now a scientist? Conveniantly didnt mention that Essendon only got done for TB4 because that was basically the strongest evidence they had to convict. God knows what else they took and asada suspected but couldn't prove.

Heard that as well Noel. Switched off as I woulda been tempted to phone in about the Brownlow being the Best and Fairest award, and that Chris Grant's misdemeanor pales into insignificance compared to Jobe Watson's. Finey really has been all over the joint on the Essendoom scandal
