I heard off someone that works at SEN that Doran is going to get the flick and be replaced with Harford. Apparantly everyone involved at SEN is sick to death of Doran's attitude.

They just rang a bloke who sent in a text message they didn't like to try and rip him to shreds. They didn't tell him he was ON AIR, and then ripped into him for daring to suggest their show was self indulgent for going on and on and on about the Ox's wedding.

Seriously, it's time SEN had a new one torn. It's like mates rates for mates only on EVERY shift, if your not one of their mates of one of the "inn crowd" they heap shite on ya.

We want SEN to work, but the lack of Professionalism shown on every shift makes it hard to be a loyal listener.

BTW what show are you talking about exactly? If it is that Saturday spotlight show there have been a lot of good reviews here about that show so you must be one of the only ones that dislikes the show.

Lack of professionalism on every shift? EVERY shift?? I disagree and doubt that anyone could listen to every shift. Doubt you've ever listened to our show, but we're nice to everyone...even the crappy callers. KB is never unprofessional.

I didn't hear that call to the texter, but I am guessing it was pretty entertaining and done tongue in cheek. Mark Allen and Liam Pickering do one of the most popular show on the station and that is the tone of their show.

Dial a dill is quality IMO but I'm with Tess just for legal reasons I think they should say "You're on air" before ripping into them. It's pretty obvious if David Schwarze rings you up after ripping into him what's happening, but I think they are actually obliged to say "you're on the air" just like when telephone calls are recorded you've got to say you are recording.

In fact I remember Craig Reucastle off Chaser's War calling the head of AWB I think and saying "Hey {name}, we're recording ....bla bla".

the only reason the tosser on the phone had a whinge about the not knowing he was on air was because he didnt have the balls to face up to mark for his rubbish text message

if you send an sms into the station and put your ph number on record then you shouldnt be suprised if you get a call back

Good luck finding it mate, SEN's website is very unprofessional and they don't look like doing anything about the lack of podcasts. You probably need an inside man to dig up some of the old tapes and copy them if you want material.

Agree with you there, Doran gets on my nerves a bit but on fridays he seems to relax and have a personality. Should be like that all week. IF he's in danger of getting the sack then he is not helpin himself by not being there Tuesday or today after having weeks off.

Harf also works better with someone there whether its casual fridays or on the rise. They need to spend the money and have two people on during the day. I remember turning off KB whenever he'd go on about the push in the back, if he had someone in there then they would say somthing against him and provide a little balance. All my fav shows are with 2 or more presenters, casual fridays, on the rise, saturday spotlight, gladiators, run home.

Yeah, all shows work much much better with 2 or more presenters. It goes for sports commentary as well as radio shows, where one person only can be painful to listen to.

Harford is one who definitely needs someone by his side - I couldn't see him hosting a show on his own, he doesn't seem to have enough experience or professionalism IMO.

Tend to agree with you on this one........because he is an aussie, I follow Lleyton, but it is getting harder and harder everytime he plays to keep doing so....as a person I find it very difficult to warm to him at all....

I cannot believe that SEN finished up and went to the Best of Sen' when the hewitt match was just underway.
I think I am like many who have SEN on in the car and at home even when I am watching the tv Sport.
I was a caller before the match when they were asking for peoples thoughts on what might happen and then when it was 1am Mark and the other guy packed up and we went to a Kevin Bartlett interview.
Seriously this is a joke if the Melbourne home of sport or whatever they want to be called cannot decide that keeping a live show while one of the biggest sporting unusual events is taking place is happening.
The other ridiculous part of this is that they had that Matty Thompson guy there and he even said before they finished he would be staying to watch the match even if it meant staying till whatever am!
I know they have had payment issues overnight but the two guys should have said we should be here till the end.
You will have had most watching on the tv anyway but even if no other radio station was commentating on the Hewitt match if SEN is the home of sport it has to for its reputation stay on live instead of going to replays of the best of SEN .
SEN no wonder people here take a shot at you whoever made that decision at 1am needs to have a rocket up their ass.
It just makes SEN look like a joke and lose reputation

It was a pretty poor effort. I'm sure if they had a bit of forward planning they could have got some people willing to stay on just for that night or even until the Hewitt match finishes up just to get some healthy ratings for people who want to listen to some thoughts on the match.

I listened to the ABC, it was on live there... I think we've all learnt to pick your spots with SEN, as its not always providing us with what we hoped.

You're right there mate. I switched over to 3aw when they had the interview on for the 3rd time on Friday but gotta say 3aw was some of the most painful listening ever, Rex Hunt and Rohan Connolly was a bad combination.

By the way that liar who was on here saying stuff about rippa rita's baby, connolly himself said on Friday that he has two kids and the youngest is 5. So enough with the lies, it'd be horrible for Rita and her kid to hear about that stuff. And as if she'd have anything to do with connolly after the Mr Sensual business anyway.

agree there. They told him he was on SEN and who they were which is more than all those gotcha calls do on fm stations. So Tess are you calling all those FM stations unprofessional too?

Saturday spotlight is quality through and through, always get a few laughs from the boys, they are great combination.
