I think there are some events that normal shows should dropped for, Brownlow night is one such event...

I agree. I was waiting for Brownlow analysis and discussion and was very disappointed with them leaving to normal programming almost immediately. They were the only radio station covering the Brownlow and it would have been a great time to possibly grab more listeners for the station. Surely it would have been an easy decision by management to cancel the 4 diegos for the night. I enjoy listening to that show but it should not have been on last night.

I have had a week off work and have been listening pretty late to Sen and cannot believe how the midnight to morning glory show has detiriorated.
I know Finey gets some w***ers calling in and I have been on hold calling in waiting to speak while some idiot is going on about a football team or player.
But they are just idiots with strange views , the all night sport program is now just full of ******** callers who use it to play games.
One minute it is a fake Indian accent then its a caller asking if Ben Brown is going to be drafted and Ben Brown is just his best mates name.
They had a poker show and again another series of callers rining in saying they got dealt a joker at the casino.
The whole thing has become a joke since i last heard it with so many dicks just making it a little kids playtime .

I thought they had a rule that you could only call in once so other callers had a chance.

If we must have 4 hours of The 4 Diego's each week, I don't think monopolising the 11pm timeslot is the right answer.

Better would be:
10pm-12am Tuesday: review weekend games, discuss upcoming midweek games
10pm-12am Thursday: review midweek games, discuss upcoming weekend games

I'm sure they would appreciate doing 2 sessions rather than 4.

I just rang my mobile as soon as the channel 7 telecast was over assuming Finey was on or someone doing a brownlow call in show.
I also was confused when the producer who answered said ring in about 40 mins as i thought they must be too busy to take calls.
The turned on the radio to hear the soccer show.
Whoever makes those decisons at SEN doesnt have much of an idea

The week I listened to the weeknight overnight was pretty much a shambles with fools ringing in creating crap , in fact there were more callers being gooses than callers who wanted to talk serious or at least it seemed like that.

He was hosting when I listened and i would say he needs to brush up on his knowledge a bit.
Said that Buddy Franklin was a rough chance to win the brownlow and he also had some Aussie Davis Cup players playing that were not even playing in the tie when he talked about Aust and Chile .
Simple but obvious mistakes .

I think he hosted it again last w/end and he was dreadfully dull, boring and annoying ..

that is the reason why we need a bit of variety overnight. i mean let's face it, not all that many people listen overnight (of course in relation to daytime). those who do either have to put up with idiots or listen to replay after replay. to break it up a bit why not have a direct feed from the UK. i mean, either that or have stupid topics (in afl off season) like who's better judd or hodge, who's the best number 21 ever?
