I actually like that fishing show too, have SMS'd them a few times. I also love the Hold ya Horses show. Josh is my fave on that show. I listen to the Morning Glory show each day also.

I can't stand Jason Richardson though. God he annoys the crap out of me. When he was on last week i went back to Ross and John on 3AW. I just couldn't listen to him. I get annoyed a bit though when there has been a big thing over night, ie: the ashes, and they want to talk about some boring moron playing golf.

But anyway, thats the joy's of listening to a sports network, you get all sports. Sometimes we don't like them, sometimes we do. Like the spring carnival, all these callers ringing up saying to get rid of it because THEY didn't like it. Well hellllooooooooooooooooooo, what they don't like, the next person loves. You have to cover it all to please all.

Anyway, thats my rant. Jeez I just felt like Rita. hahaha.

Schebecci is a tough one to critique, because he does well as a host, but not as a sports analyst/presenter. The amount of times he talks vaguely about all sports, including AFL, and mispronounces names etc... is annoying. He absolutely stank/stinks as a day time fill in guy. I remember his first show on Hungry for Sport, the journo he had in basically cut him off and disagreed with 3-4 of his main points in the first hour. But he has good personal skills with co-hosts/listeners.

Yeah he's a good presenter and would be good as a newsreader or announcer, something where he doesn't have to seem opinionated. On The Gladiators of Sport, Peaky or Zantuck may be talking about a certain player, then Tony will pretend to know what they're talking about and just chime in with another repetitive, stupid sound effect.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of Tony, but he's more suited to keeping up with major headlines as opposed to the finer points of sports.

Schebecci can't string a sentence together, he is the most frustrating announcer I have ever heard. He stops mid sentence all the time, says three or so words at a time. Arrghhhhhh

This has been the problem for the past 15 years ever since ex-players started entering the media in their droves. Everyone is 'mates' with someone and unable to critique anyone/anything. In these instances the public end up losing out.

I think KB is one of the few commentators who defy this trend with his questioning (albeit sometimes he is stupid). To the other extreme we have Tony Shaw who uses his position to grind his 'Malthouse' axe.

The other one's can't put a whole sentence together. Least on these shows there are people who can speak clearly.
