Have you heard him do special comments or pre-match? He is quality.

personally i cant stand him. sometimes i think he tries too hard when explaining patterns of play, or when predicting things.

Like Dermie or not, the guy knows the game and is entertaining. Did you see that ham giving the high five to Aaron Piersol at the Swim Champs? He's everywhere.

The good news is Born in the USA has not been axed. See the reply from SEN to an email I sent yesterday......

Hi xxxxxx, the good news is Born in the USA hasn’t been axed..the guys probably jumped in a bit early last Sunday night and said this. It is true we were looking at covering the AFL until midnight Sunday however yesterday we decided that we will do a 90 minute post match footy wrap rather than 3 hours so that means that “born” in the winter months will be a 2 hour Sunday night show 10-12 and in summer revert back to 3 or 4 hours. Thanks MJ

I have been thinking about who the most talented people are at SEN. I am actually leaning toward the americans. So many of the shows there have the built in audience and topics. It doesn't matter who is talking about footy...if they're on air, we're listening, we're calling in and we're blogging. The Yanks are very interesting. Any thoughts?

How annoying is it that many SEN listeners that ring in, especially after midnight, are, well, how should I put it, not 100% in control of their mental faculties? I wish SEN would get caller id and not take calls from some of these types.

And Tiff Cherry is a honey. It's about time she did a spread.

Another thing, I wish SEN did a podcast of Born In The USA.

The midnight callers are absolute stupid of the stupid. Billy calls in after Richmond get beaten and say Carlton are the worst team he's seen, and bags St.Kilda after they won. Talked about richmond for 5 seconds, when he talks about them for 10 minutes everynight.

My favourite caller is Brucey, who says the most random things and always calls from a strange place such as a public phone in a pub or a taxi, and always mentions his mates.

On a good note, looks like SEN have listened and taken Schebecci off, and given Luke and Mark 2 shifts and Brett Phillips 5. Good stuff SEN!

Mark Fine got a hammering after Stkilda v Melb, listeners saying he's biased etc... not many people seem to like him, but he's good to listen to.

Solid footy calling... although im still on MMM when BT and JB are calling.
