I own season 1 and 2 on DVD, and have downloaded seasons 3, 4 and 5, so I've seen them all. IMO they're very very good, but there's less focus on the season long storyline and more focus on the episode-to-episode storyline. But they're still great television, although none of the first 4 seasons have a thing on season 5, which is the finest season of television I have ever seen.

It hardly makes any difference if Ch.10 shows season 5 now, as it's going to be available on dvd in march... If only FX would stop sitting on their hands and the second half of season 5 to air.
In other news, Shawn Ryan has confirmed that there will be a 10 episode season 6 after the rest of season 5, after deciding there's enough creative juice to keep going.

Just to clarify, the new batch of episodes that are going to air in the U.S starting in March-April will be the second half of season 5. After that there will be another batch of 10-12 episodes which will be season 6 that probably won't air until 2008 and then the show will wrap for good.
It's sad to see the end in sight but to be honest, I'd rather see the show end at the top of it's game rather than have go on one or two more seasons than it should have.

I know this is a bit old school but currently Fox 8 are showing series 2. There are only 2 episodes left as they head towards The Money Train heist. I checked next months Foxtel schedule and the ********ers have taken it off even though I have seen it before. Gee thanks alot Fox 8

That was season 4. You're yet to see season 5, which is without question the best season they've done yet.

The good thing is that the first F1 GP to be shown at night isn't until April 15 [assuming Sepang is shown live in the afternoon on April 8],so that's 9 weeks where The Shield shouldn't get taken on and off.
