I don't like the fact that the saints are sharing our tactics after we've played them. Unless the coach and Mav asked specific questions?

Yes, they probably already know but why give out a free meal to your opposition?

I think they are a little off the mark with the specific tactic.

Every body knows that WCE play a 7 man defense at bouncedowns, been doing all year but the personnel changes from quarter to quarter, week to week.

It ain't no secret.

As I said, yes, the opposition probably know. Still doesn't explain explaining specific tactics after the fact.

edit: ooops this is about the spitter - my bad

Teams put serious time into the oppo before each game. The 'Aints aint saying anything that any other club aint noticed already.
I like how they are up and about saying they knew what we were doing and had it covered. Yeh well done and you also lost by 50 points

It's amazing that people are actually talking positive about our midfield, Wasn't so long ago it was a basket case, I think it's still to be tested but enjoying a bit of positive feedback at the moment, Hell the geelong board are worried about our midfield and that hasn't happened for years !!

I don't mind and I am all for coaches talking specifics about the game. As others have said the oppo already know this stuff anyway.

It doesn't mean they know who we will use for the job, or when, in combination with what other strategies, and it also doesn't guarantee that they can stop it unless they are better than us.

Hawthorn's gameplan doesn't seem that complicated (which I'm sure is a good thing for the players too). That doesnt mean they have been easily stopped the last few years. The difference is you need the players to execute it and that's what takes years to develop.

I like the idea if you get the right player in the role.

Thanks to Mav and Richo but our secret is out!!! Watch us fall apart at the seams like Port

It is only a very minute part of what we do and the role changes from player to player, quarter to quarter and week to week.

No secret. Just a simple 7 man defense.

Haven't noticed the spitter being used as much in the latter part of the year - anyone at the games notice anything?
