Much like the dead actors thread I thought it might be nice to give a quick tip o' the hat to recently departed musos who touched us in some way.

I'll open with Gary Moore...knew his way around a Les Paul, had rare touch and tone and one of only 456,762 people to play in Thin Lizzy. Props.

Also an acknowledgement of Jeff Healy...clearly the best blind Canadian blues guitarist of his time.
 
I have to say I only knew of the late Jeff Whatsisname from TL so maybe you had to be a fan to have heard of Gary Moore - more than likely played for other groups thogh I'm tipping. Regardless I really enjoyed the clang-clang guitar of the TL stuff I knew.
