Am pleased with the looks of that,

if McPhee dosn't get up for the game - I'd say Alvey might get a game, just another in and under player who will enjoy the expected wet conditions.

Perhaps a little too tall for the rain (especially if McPhee plays), but they are obviously preparing for it by the looks of the Emergency list.

McPhee, while he has plenty of height on him and can take a good mark, is perfectly at home at ground level imo so I don't see him as increasing the height of the team... at least not in a negative sense.

Pretty decent team. What's the word on McPhee? I guess he's 80/20 today? ;) It goes without saying that he'll be a huge boost...I'll be praying! If he doesn't play, I'd be tipping Mercuri or Alvey to come in - not NLM. Too big a risk, hasn't done much for awhile now.

Stants probably lucky, but I guess they're hoping he's learnt enough not to put in a repeat performance of last week and to make the most of it this week.

Good to see Sheeds has his sense of humour with the named half back line.

Glad to see Ted in the team, and hopefully showing some faith in Stants pays off.

With the Ins/Outs i kinda agree with Bomber Boy that we might be a bit too tall, but then we do have Bullen and Stants on the bench, so it doesn't look so bad on second thought.

Wouldn't surprise to see McPhee go out for Alvey.

Good team. The key to the game will be us playing smart in the conditions, in the past we have lost games in the wet when we have over possessed the footy across half back (against Carlton McPhee & Solly were guilty of this), I'd actually like to see Pev go back there early as he plays smartest in these conditions, put Solly on the ball his big body will be important around the packs. I also like the inclusion of Richards, he's played well in wet conditions in the past.

Yeah I agree with what everyone is saying. Good to see Haynes go, L-M was ordinary but he has had a pretty good season. In a way I hope Mc Phee doesn't play because it is a huge risk playing him, however in the end he has to play and we have to win. Good also to see Ted Richards back, he will great some options up foward and down back, and could free others to play running roles with holes in Geelong's foward and back lines.
