I thought the Eagles were ****ed at half time, but we all know what happened in the third quarter.

What I don't know was why?

Clarke had had a rest, so it wasn't that, or fitness re Burton and McLeod etc

The Eagles have done this a few times this yr, just have to look at the last 3 games against sydney, against geelong, hawks and carlton but that was all in the last qtr against the blues and now you guys.

Adelaide needed to be more switched on at the start of the 2nd half, that first 10-12 min cost you guys heaps.

We weren't favourites yesterday and we lost by 10 points. Could have gone either way. Proud of my team. We played good footy against the team that's gonna win the flag this year. No shame at all.

I guess you think that you should be playing on Saturday because you beat West Coast in a H&A game. Whoopdeedoo Basil. We played a ****e second half, thats what lost it for us. Simple.

And yet we started with some of our guns on the bench at the start of the the third quarter (Bode, McLeod, and Burton, by the paper reports). The West Coast were always going to come back strongly after half time and we started with some of our leaders and our best in and under player on the pine.

Clarke also needed to be rested at some stage in the 3rd, everyone (not Crows supporters) are going on (and on, and on) about Big Cox's 27 touches, yet he was playing on a guy who was absoultey spent for the last qtr and a half.

Always easy in hindsight but I tell you what....hit table in frustration.
