To give James Craig a nickname. Honestly, I can't read another training report thinking that our coaching staff are laying bruising tackles on Tippett.

I dunno, something like the big ginge or nason (not a son of Neil)

thoughts?

James Sellar?

damnit :thumbsd:
the classic "jenny" unless people want to use jenny for talia - although that's so very wrong :p
we should tell james craig to get a new surname! same with luke thompson! and maybe even aiden riley!

His initials are JC, how about JC? Maybe we could nickname him with the most famous JC of all time... James Cameron?

I'd call him Laid, after the James song of the same name, unless something better came along.

What about Jesus Christ? Although to not alienate the Christian supporters we may need to pronounce it heysoos

Or fanta? Rusty? That hair is red and staggly, kind of like yahoo serious

Iron oxide?

My vote is for Heysoos. :p

Rusty and JC aren't bad. I like the sounds of him as a player too, seems like he could be a bit of a cult hero in the not-so-distant future.

JENNY????? :eek::D

With Craig I'd like to come up with a nickname that has nothing to do with his actual name, and everything to do with his ridiculous size and strength. I'd go with "Ox" if that wasn't already taken. Any ideas?

Red Rhino. :D

There is only one true Australian nickname for a redhead - Blue.

Although the other option is to go with what a Richmond player called Ben Hart onfield one game, "baked bean head". :D

According to AFC.com

His earliest football memory: "My team winning by so much in primary school that we had piggy-back races at full back".

Neil will love that one:o So maybe......

Piggy
Swineflu
Porky
Wilbur
Jacobs

Or relating to the fact that in the heat of battle he was relegated to the backlines...

Sgt Bilko
Gomer Pyle
Elvis Presley

There was also a reference to an old red t shirt he has in his wardrobe from when he was 14, Could it be that it still fits him??, He must have been massive in High school, so perhaps...

Baby Hewey
Fat Albert
Magilla Gorilla..... or

"F.E.D" just a play on F.U.D. (sorry Jars) with the "E" denoting Enormous or Epic or Elephantine, Expansive, Exploded ..you get the picture:rolleyes:

“To talk of many things:
Of shoes—and ships—and sealing wax—
Of cabbages—and kings—
And why the sea is boiling hot—
And whether pigs have wings.”

So....

cabbage.

It's as good as it gets for a giant ranger.
