Yep, him, Lascelles and Janmaat have been honest at least. Mitro has been alright since coming on and Perez got a goal after being in and out of the side in recent matches.

I went to bed at half time, had to drive to the airport at 10am and pick someone up and it wasn't worth me being tired for.

Pathetic. We're cooked now. Every minute that McClaren stays in a job from here on in is just further confirmation of how much of a joke we are.
 
I'm still not sure what farking planet Mclaren is on, why did we recruit Doumbia? Riviere starting is criminal. Someone save us PLZZZZZZZ
 
Seems to be a lot of talk McClaren is all but ready to be sacked with potentially Moyes or Pearson the favourites to get in. Even saw a (laughable) rumour we were going to off Mourinho $5m to try and keep us up :D
 
A managerial trio of NUFC Tiger, tige19 and myself would be preferable to McClaren at the moment. We would be far better lol.

Good to hear that he is going to be sacked but it is probably about a month too late. He should have been gone after the Chelsea or Everton games.

He's had his time and nothing to show for it. Thankfully we're only 1 point from safety and have 10 games to go. Need to make the switch sooner rather than later. Anyone who can send a rocket up the backsides of our lazy squad would be a welcome appointment. Even better if they have some idea tactically and with substitutions! :D
 
I am not a huge Moyes fan but would take Moyes after 20 pints over a sober McClaren at this point.
 
I think I like Moyes because he had a good run with Everton who I'd say are not too dissimilar to us in terms of stature. Don't think he had a fair go at it at MU but got the best out of limited resources with Everton and has been involved in relegation scraps before. The fact he is also capable of roasting players when they aren't playing well would be welcome for the likes of Sissoko, Colback and even Gini in recent weeks has been quite anonymous.

I'm a bit worried but not surprised how slow the club is treating this. On a positive note, in the past when calls to sack Pardew and Carver were very loud, the club came out and defended them. They haven't done that with Steve...
 
McClaren is gone, no doubt about it, even that big incompetent simpleton Charnley understands that they need to sure up a replacement before they cut him loose, hopefully that person is Rafa but if it's Moyes that would be an improvement as well, once the details are sorted, Stevie will be gone,

Yeah I suspect (hope) they just want a replacement in before they do anything. Would be pretty happy with Rafa. Big name manager who would probably command respect from the playing group as soon as he walked into the dressing room.

Suffice to say if they keep McClaren for more than 1 more game (like the Leicester one coming up), I think we're stuffed.

Mate from Tyneside I got to know from my travels over there said that Rafa is a sure thing.. Even word that he is in the city, apparantly it's been on the radio and all through the tabloids. Fingers crossed

I think Rafa will be in place by the time we wake in the morning... That's my absolute most positive thought lol

Let me counter your positivity with some negativity.... Rafa talk is just a smokescreen, when McClaren gets the bullet it will pave the way for Joe Kinnear to return [emoji23]
