AS: An agreement between City and Pellegrini is "close" and Txiki is expecting the Chilean to agree to become City boss in the coming days.
Mundo Deportivo: City are ahead of Barcelona and in pole position to sign Isco (21), aided by the likelihood of Pellegrini's arrival.
i love the shit out of bobby, but if i had to pick one guy to replace him if it unfortunately happened, it would definitely be pellegrini.
Wont be the first time a deal had been done for a Mancini replacement, we must be up to a dozen managers for next season now.
Pretty shit timing if it was true, FA Cup final in four days.

Would love it if Rogers takes over from Mankini
Not only is he just a good-average average manager but the meltdown on RAWK would be fun. It really would put a dint in their "Rogers and the Barcelona model" thread![]()
**** I hope not.And a reprisal of a Mersyside derby rivalry in Manchester when Moyes takes over from the Govan pisscan.
8 assistants and he can be the boot cleaner.
Alderweireld and Wanyama would be decent gets. Kelly and Wisdom are both CB's playing at full back too. Both look to have the goods. I dont want us to go after Ashley Williams, he isnt good enough and Swansea will want way too much money. We need attacking players too. Carra will be missed.Liverpool are looking at Toby Alderweireld (Ajax - key target, has already publicly expressed interest in joining Liverpool) and 1 of Dejan Lovren (Lyon), Victor Wanyama (Celtic - can also play CDM and cover Lucas), Douglas (FC Twente - available on a free this summer) or Tiago Ilori (Sporting Lisbon) to replace Carragher (retired) and Coates (either sent out on loan or sold) in the summer.
Interest in Ashley Williams (Swansea) has dropped because of the asking price for a player his age and Stefan De Vriij (Feyenoord) didn't impress when Rodgers went to watch him earlier in the year.
Personally I'd like to see Alderweireld and Wanyama come in, both are relatively young and capable of filling multiple holes in the squad, Alderweireld in particular from what I've seen would slot straight into the first team. In my opinion Martin Skrtel's future depends on Rodgers' plans for Martin Kelly. If Kelly can perform as well at CB for us as he has for the England U21's and our youth teams in the past (he has all the attributes to be a very capable CB/RB in the mould of Branislav Ivanovic) then we'll have no need for Skrtel and he may also be sold.
Lolz. Just ridiculous that United think this could happen. He is a very good manager who has managed at the top level for over a decade. He isnt suddenly going to drop down to being an assistant manager.Odds on Moyes joining United as an assistant have been slashed apparently.
Babelcopters is amazeballs. Hope he convinces Eriksen to join us.Ryan Babel was just on Talksport to talk about winning the title with Ajax and his plans for the future.
"I'm convincing Eriksen to join Liverpool. He asked me about the club. I hope he joins.''
I love that man. Available on a free in the summer too if anyones interested.
So unfair on Mancini IMO. He won City the league, we all knew defending it would be very difficult and that United would come back strong. City have struggled in the CL but are routinely qualifying for it now and still have an FA Cup to win which they no doubt will. Tough being a manager in todays game.AS: An agreement between City and Pellegrini is "close" and Txiki is expecting the Chilean to agree to become City boss in the coming days.
