What does passing a medical involve? If he's currently injured, how does he pass it?

Good luck to him, I've always been of the belief he could be a very effective footballer in a system built to his strengths. I heard the initial loan fee was 2 million. So 15.5 plus 2 million performance related plus the 2 million loan fee means we somehow recouped 19.5 of the 35. Amazing really.

Carroll's an interesting one, 15 mill is a lot to pay but we'll finally get to see if he can step up to a serviceable level. I personally don't think he will, but at the same time I've always felt he tried his hardest at level at Liverpool and may have been a bit unlucky.
