I presume this is the beginning of the end of his Chelsea career. Cant see him returning and being in our squad again unless he does something special over there.

Looks likely that they will bid soon, and it will start a bidding war. From United's perspective, the best result would be to send him abroad, and that article suggests we will do just that.

Got a feeling he's plan B to Cavani, which I don't mind. I would be happier to spend €60mil on Rooney and Matic rather than just Cavani.

Great signing. Spurs supporters have wanted him for ages.

For Spurs it would be a decent signing. For a just promoted club spending 8m on one player who isn't proven in the Premier League or even England, is a huge gamble.
