They are by far the worst "winners" of any supporters and for this reason I hate losing to them, especially at the Gabba

One of them had the nerve to say that out players were holding and hitting their players in the head. I posted about Chappy and they deleted it haha. Truth hurts dont it you druggies.

Yep, disappointingly predictable. Handy for fantasy football but that's little solace. The one hope is that eventually our players become more effective run-with players.

The fact that when you tackle a player these days, you're more likely to give up a free kick rather than be rewarded with one. The tackler needs to avoid getting in the back, a tackle slipping high, ******* duckers etc. where as the player with the ball can just let it go and not be penalised.

The sliding into the legs rule needs to go or adjusted just for those big slides that completely takes the legs. If a player sees the other slide coming they can adjust to it and they are doing so by standing to get the free. It should be for the blind slide in that results in dangerous force...or just get rid of it!!

Just finished watching the replay. Really can't complain too much about the team's performance - which overall was great, but a number of things stood out:

• I kept a count throughout the match that we missed Browny on clear leads 10 times (4 in the first quarter alone). Not to mention the bullshit shepherding free kick paid against him in the first when it should have been his free for holding the man straight in front of goal to him.
• I also kept a count of huge clangers from umpires - it ended up being 3 in favour of us 6 in favour of Essendon - almost all resulted in at least a scoring opportunity (or took one away). The 50m against Maguire in the first and free to Daniher in the ruck in the last were absolute killers.
• Bombers fans - otherwise known as arrogant w***ers. Couldn't believe how cocky they were despite having been morally beaten by the team on the bottom of the ladder that had only won 3 quarters for the season before the match. What turds - no wonder everyone hates them.
• Simple skill errors - God we could put on a horror movie of atrocious simple clangers from almost every match this season.
• Slow and / or unnecessary switches are doing my ****ing head in.
• Playing Mayes down back when he started the season so well in the forward line. FFS stop being stubborn Leppa.
• Why the hell did we sub Raines???
• And finally - that there are still so many people in Brisbane that come to the footy and know very little about the game. While the attendance and atmosphere tonight were overall pretty good, I always seem to sit in sections where about 10 times a game I will be the only person yelling out about a ridiculous free or something (like the Brown decision in the first). I can see our member areas mostly seem a lot more vocal as is the general admin down the bottom - but really bloody Queenslanders are far too laid back - haven't they ever heard the old saying that "footy isn't life or death....................... it's much more important".

Overall pretty pleased with the match despite all of the above.

Same as a few frees for pushing/shoving at marking contests. There was supposed to be an allowance for more body work to out muscle opponents at marking contests this year, yet the stronger player seems to be getting pinged again for being smarter or stronger.
