He's not running away. He's barely walking away. It's also good because we have 3 constructors so close to each other. Really good for F1 despite Verstappen currently leading.

Brilliant start from Piastri from 6th to third by second corner.

I suspect he's biding his time. Piastri is going well, confident move on Leclerc.
The problem for Sainz is that Leclerc's DRS via Piastri will give him a great defence.
Some of the onboards show how bumpy this track is, reminds me of a rollercoaster. I suspect I'd be sick.

Problem with so many DRS zones that if you're not a lot faster than someone, you can't break the tow as they will go from 0.9 to 0.3 and yoyo back and forth.
Would like to see Norris catch Perez. At the mo it seems Perez is catching Sainz. Piastri is hurting any hope the Ferraris had of a win today.

Still only 2.8s between Piastri and Verstappen
Hulk is starting to fall away now. Norris is now crawling around Perez.
Be interesting to see Indycar race around here, especially given how track limits are slightly more optional.

True. I'm thankful for Sky footage of Indycar, because I think US footage they stick ad breaks in during live races, which must be infuriating.

Yeah Sky just go back to Tom Gainor (?) in the studio or at the track if it's the Indy 500.
So, McLaren want Norris to get after Sainz, and Leclerc pitting will mean Piastri can focus on pushing forward. Orange could well be faster than red today.
The blue on the Ferraris doesn't work.
Oooh, they need to move that bollard.
This is good for Verstappen, Piastri and Sainz.
