Clever. Think of that all by yourself?

And nut isn't spelt body btw

and apparently it was the only time he ever did it says every half wit Freo flog

They are the same as us, don't want to beleive that their players were on the gear back then. We all know that a fair chunk of our team in the mid 2000's liked the Coke and biscuits, but so did probably half of every team in the comp, our players weren't the only ones. I don't have a problem with players using those sort of drugs, in their own time, none would be stupid enough to think that a line of Coke would actually help improve their performance, and if they did, they obviously had never used it before. Johnson was just dumb enough to get caught in the act, I bet if the cops had searched everyone he was with that night, they all would have had the same shit on them.

HAHA! +1 internets for you.

I'm personally quite tired of this media plugged rivalry. (it could be because we keep getting pumped, but I digress..) Sure the 90's and early 2000's were awesome, but the two teams have moved on. No chance of there being a demo-derby, or anything of the like we've both got Victorian coaches, no Drum, no Worsfold.. I'm quite happy to go ahead hating the Scott brothers and anyone else that whines about WA football for no good reason.

Sure I'd like to beat Freo, but no more than any other team in the competition.

I agree that all teams have players undertaking these activities, just that it appears that some of the boys at WCE in mid 00's got a bit wayward.

Your quote above is what gets me, changing society attitudes ?.

Oh well, to me, only dills do illegal drugs. ( No such thing as recreational drugs ).

I don't really have an issue with people going out on the weekend and having a pill, or a line or 2 of coke, that isn't really going to cause too many problems for the vast majority. Once it starts getting to Meth and harder drugs that are very addictive, and destructive to most, that's when issue's arise, see Dayle Garlett.

It can be a blurred line between having fun, and all of a sudden having a real problem, but I think most people who have their head screwed on, can dabble in "party" drugs, and still lead normal, productive, responsible lives, without turning into drug crazed criminals. This whole "gateway" shit, about people starting off on weed etc and turning into heroin & meth addicts is just absurd, and things said by people who clearly have no experience with any of it.

Without wanting to make a thing of it - beer is a recreational drug. Tobacco is too. The legality distinction isn't a great one to hang an argument off of. No doubt the harder stuff can do a lot of damage very quickly (some of it is quite rightly illegal), but lung cancer and liver damage are just as fatal as your heart stopping in Vegas. The timeframe is different is all.

Yeah throw in the old argument, "obesity kills more people than drugs these days" and it just shows it's all about what the government can make money from, and what they can't as to whether something is illegal or not. If they could legalise some of the drugs, and tax them, they would.
