Yes the bloke is mad as a cut snake. However Jelana wins a few matches, so an Australian reporter rushes over to somewhere in serbia to ask him a few questions. Why bother? Why give him a voice. Trouble stirring by an irresponsible media.
For god's sake, Jelana is getting back on track. Great story. Don't give Damir the attention he thrives on. Typical case of media trying to drum up a story that just isn't there.

The guy is an absolute freak, look at the comments he's making about his own daughter, the one he is meant to care about so much. He's a nutcase, a freak, he needs to stay away for good. And I really, really wish the media would stop asking him for comments, what the heck does it achieve other than put doubts over a finally successful Dokic comeback? I hate the media, I hate her dad. I mean the poll today is, 'Should we forgive Jelena?' Give me a break.

Perhaps you don't know the full story...it has been on going for years..
Don't even think of sticking up for this guy, he doesn't deserve one ounce of sympathy from anyone!
One top coach (who wanted to remain unnamed in paper) has said he will be haunted to his grave that after seeing Jelena physically abused by her father after she lost a match, he did nothing to help her, and that others who knew what was going on, did nothing to help her..and gave her no support at all..
Good family structure does not work like Damir ran his family..
Its a very sad story......but unfortunately, its Jelena's story, and it is only now coming out in its fullest, just what she went through..
She deserves every bit of luck, and our compassion.........Damir deserves nothing!!
