I said that yesterday re working together to kill the immediate threat first

I personally wouldn't worry about that I'd just get everyone across for more bites
I reckon we just call Ghostbusters. Close enough.

But do we even know for sure that more zombies = more bites each night?

As you said, if it can double each night the game could be over in a matter of 2-3 days
from the op

Zombie - Seers as zombie (and their role). Each night eats some of the brains of a player. That player becomes a zombie at dawn. Zombies retain their roles but because of the lack of brain they will always be unsuccessful in their actions.

so each zombie gets a chance to create another zombie each night

they can double zombie numbers every night

I’m going rogue, but I’m happy to oblige.

I’m the roleblocker. I am happy to act as an agent for the non-zombies, because my skills of an evening can be useful in preventing the zombies spreading and acquiring their win condition. I’m also the lowest ranked member of my faction so I control our kill as well. I have at least 48 hours of usefulness ahead of me. I know for a fact that none of my remaining faction mates were infected on night one as all of our actions succeeded.

I also know that I did NOT block jannissary last night, so I’d love to know how his result came back unsuccessful.

Other than just a seer. We don’t have the manpower to seer them all in the timeframe given.
i can't see anything in Kurve's posting that would count as a clue I don't think

An intriguing turn of events!

Wait a minute... could janissary have seared Patient Zero?

Night immune to all actions.

only for first night is how i read it then just a normal zombie
guessing they will seer as zombie/villager

I had assumed jannisary was protected by the doc last night, but I think the doc protection is the only one unaccounted for that can prevent a seer.

Or janisarry is already a Zombie.

Hmm yeah you're probably right. Still, interested to know who janissary tried to seer in case the person they tried was somehow protected.

I mean it does make sense, came out on D1. Though surely you just make up a seer result rather than essentially giving away you're a zombie?

only options I can see if tarks didn't role block jannissary are

beaston protected someone else and the protect blocked the seer
flogs used their protect and it blocked the seer
jannissary is a zombie

can you think of any others?

army protect is only against kills and the joat and drunk protects were not used last night

In the interest of working together and killing the zombies, I'm part of the flog crew and can confirm we didn't use our protect on janissary.

It’s not jannisary that we expect to have been protected, it’s his target.

So thanks for the transparency but that tells us nothing lol.
