With just a few hours to go before Richmond's likely 5th loss in a row, I thought to myself "Damn, it's been a rough few months for old Dimma. He's lost a LOT of things." and so I thought it might be nice to compile a list of things poor Dimma has lost:
1. His marriage to Mrs Hardwick
2. Half of his house (to the former Mrs Hardwick)
3. Half of his cash (to the former Mrs Hardwick)
4. Half of his super (to the former Mrs Hardwick)
5. Most of his good players (Richmond are the only team to have injuries, mind).
6. The advantages Richmond had over the rest of the league thanks to some astute rule making on the run by Saint Steve Hocking
7. 4 matches in a row for the first time since 2017
8. Potentially 5 matches in a row for the first time since 2016 (6 in a row then though!, oh my!)
9. The respect of his players (thanks to rooting around on Mrs Hardwick)
10. The respect of his peers (see above)
11. About 30% of members (Thanks to bombing out of finals contention this year)
12. Approximately 95% of Richmond Bay Posters
13. All the good assistant coaches, thanks to Brooke Cotchin and others selfishly wasting Richmond's soft cap
