Things I've learnt from this game

To take too much notice of a crap game is often unwise, but I got the following out of today.

1. We are way way way too slow, I know Bell and Bartram have been disappointing this year but with the pace in our side you couldn't get rid of those two.

2. Bell could be okay in the midfield, might give him a go there next nab cup.

3. Matty Whelan is a superstar, where would our backline be without him.

4. You can't get close to winning if you're getting smashed in the midfield, I'm on the Rich bandwagon

5. Petterd is bloody unlucky, but at least in the time he was on he showed me he still is a ripper

6. Grimes will make it, like Maric he has clean hands and is cool under pressure (except when kicking for goal), not the best debut but went okay.

7. Miller is best off as a leading full forward

8. Frawley, Bartram, Buckley, Jones, Sylvia are in a special club - the 1 good thing followed by 2 stuff ups - cut the basic errors out of their games and we have 5 good footballers, at the moment they are 5 average players.

1) Trade them for two draft picks, draft quick players. Pace is a problem, but not as big a problem as shit kicking and being unable to notice a player running up your backside.

2) Go post that on the Adelaide Board.

3) Agreed. If he doesn't get at least another year, something is wrong.

4) Agreed. We need a smooth mover, look how useful Deledio is for the Tigers, Rich would give us that bit of class needed to hit a Miller or Sylvia on the chest. Draft a KPP with 17 or 19.

5) Yes and No. Will be a good player, but he looked a bit off the pace.

6) Agreed. Poise.

7) Not sure whether Robbo and Miller will work, but if push comes to shove, good luck with the singing career Russell.

8) Jones has gone backwards, Frawley is looking a real dud of a top 12 pick.

And lastly, I thought Warnock was terrific today.
