Bullshit. You're telling me that we would trade away our best rebounding defender and possibly most improved player along with a club favourite in Carrazzo for a sub par defender?

On top of that Russel is a rebounding defender of which they have many in Malceski, Shaw and Mattner.

It's just not going to happen.

Who is most likely having you on or has said that the club is looking at LRT but hasn't committed.

Firstly, NOBODY does a trade before seasons end, way too many variables. What if the player gets injured, what if something serious happens personally, what if another, better and affordable player comes on the market. For crying out loud we don't even know who will have what picks in the ND.

Secondly, why would LRT want to come to Melbourne? Sydney is undergoing a rebuild and has a group of promising midfielders, but no real pressure on his position. He is a NSW native and surely would be best suited at staying closer to home.

Thridly, why on earth would Russell or Carrazzo want to go to Sydney. Both are contracted and would have to consent to a deal, Russell is a South Aussie and Carrots a Vic, neither would be assured a place in the Sydney line up.

Fourthly, nothing is 100%

Lets be honest, His disposal is shocking, I would definately trade him on his own for LRT

my point exactly - alot of people on BF have been calling out for weeks to drop him but the coach and MC love him and thus he has remained in the side. This is contrary to your belief that the club is not happy with him and would therefore include him in such a trade
