The Dr was at best guess a socially awkward fan who quickly went passive aggressive troll when things didn't go their way. Possibly did an "internship" selling memberships and therefore was in the inner sanctum.
Cracked the shits and blamed fans for team performance, eventually got banned and turned to the draft and trading and possibly other boards to talk down the team and cry about this board.

*Also at one point created a sock-puppet account to agree with their rubbish.

i try and live by 2 rules when on line.
1. If I wouldn't say it to your face I wont type it.
2. Treat others how I wish to be treated

Mods wouldn't be required that much if everyone was a bit nicer to each other. In saying that I think the mods are doing a sterling job.

+1 on:

1. The word "rape". We're a creative bunch, surely we're all capable of thinking up some other analogy, or failing that, using a Simpsons meme.
2. Relating good football to dicks/orgasming/sex. Can't say I've really noticed it too much here, but I've seen boards elsewhere on bf degenerate into a bro-town; the SuperCoach board got so ugly there was/is a sticked thread about excessive sexual references; I'd left well before, that was just pathetic.

I think our board would become a little too stale and insular without regular visits from opposition posters.

While I get that a large number of them come purely to stir and troll, and lord knows the MFC has been troll-worthy for some time, I think we sometimes assume that a visitor comes with evil intentions.

I'd like us to take a slightly less defensive position with visitors until they prove otherwise.

I'm well aware that some of our defenders are probably also experiencing the other side when visiting other boards and merely dishing out the same. I don't tend to stray outside of our home, so don't have that experience.
