.... I thought we would give the Top for a huge nudge again. I thought Houlihan was a good pick and with Stafford replacing Gale thought that a Top eight finish would be a cake walk.

How wrong I was.



This Time around I have a even bigger expectation than last year. Not so much on the position that we will finnish but more to do with the side we will put on the park.

From the 34 players that played in 2001 we have had 10 players leave. Thats a Fair chunk. Considering the Talent that has left and the Talent that has arrived we are surely in a better position ?????? What do you people think.

Even up until the point where we made the Final of the Whizzer Cup, I was very confident on our prospects. However a diabolical run on injuries to our tall players put paid to any momentum and chance of the finals.

Injuries, as ever, are the biggest impediment to any teams chances.

Given a reasonable run with injuries this year, I think top 4 will be expected and should have a chance at having a crack at the flag.
