Sure, there are major duststorms and the CIA thought that they knew where Saddam was and had a crack with 40 missiles, but this war is pretty disappointing so far.

Iraq has only fired 6 missiles into northern Kuwait.

Where's the serious air war? Blitzkrieg? Armoured attacks? Invasion? Chemical and biological weapons?

I have made a formal complaint to the Dept of Defence about this disappointing war. I don't pay taxes for this soft crap.

Bring on the Daisy Cutters!

We got a "Baghdad Rose" yet?

Are the dust storms a true indication of whose side god is on?

Or are they a creation of the TV networks, so the war can't start until prime time, on the weekend?

I must admit, I was looking foward to a huge fireball engulfing Baghdad, killing millions of civilians and the human shields like Gordon, and it being splashed across the TV screens for countless days. Sadly, not to be. But I can always live in hope.

Yeah. Most disappointing.

Was hoping half the American army would be home in body bags by now.

Ah well ... at least Iraq got the better of the first day. So far, America has only succeeded in embarassing itself.

The coalition force is striking early to blanket the main Iraq strike force, this promises to be an awesome display by allah`s chosen.

The horses are fit, breast armour is shiny, sticks have been sharpened, the really big stones chosen, & new thongs fitted to the ground troops. The buckshot is locked & loaded for artillery backup.

Expect a full surrender by the coalition any moment now.

Many doe eyed virgin goats to be distributed to the victorious warriors.

I'd say the Coalition of the Killing are 0/5 off 3 overs. No losses yet, but only the occasional pushed single while they work out the dusty, turning track.

From what they have seen the bowlers certainly don't seem to be much of a threat.

The iraqis are bowling rank full tossers at the Coalition. 8 "scuds" in 8 balls. So far one was hot for 6 back down the ground and over the bowlers head.

The Iraqi bowling attack hasnt been a real threat at the moment.

The Coalition's threat to smash the Iraqis all around the ground in the first 15 overs seems to have not transpired just yet.

And of course Scuds are an illegal delivery. They're not supposed to have them! (ooops - sorry Hans)

Word is Basra is about to fall. The second largest city in Iraq. I now make it 0/110 of 12 overs.

And by holding off on 'shock and awe' the coalition are picking up brownie points in the PR battle.

I don't see why in today's high technology age we can't have mini cams like they have on Grand Prix cars put onto tanks, soldier's helmets(the one's on their heads that is;) ) & perhaps even on the missiles themselves.

Also it could be fully interactice so that I a viewer at home can go to which ever part of the theatre of war I desire at any moment with just a flick of a button.

I would happily pay for this, perhaps a similar amount to my cable company that I'd pay for the sports package or they could even do it like they do for pay per view boxing.

Surely the jewel in the crown would be the street fighting in Baghdad as desperate Republican guard & baath party officials fight on to the death against allied marines & paratroopers, perhaps using young children as shields to add a final artistic touch to proceedings.

We could even get Steven Spielberg in to direct the filming of this part.
