what kind of gargabe website cant even handle a few peoeple on a chat forum

It's the middle of the night. I just sent out the weekly e-mail to 3,000+ people. That's why it is busy.

It happens during the day as well now. So you're saying that you're sending out emails everytime the server is busy? I thought it was because your site is an offshoot of the traffic heavy BigSoccer.com and BF suffers as a result. Please keep the stories consistent.

It is a combination of the two. When I sent out the e-mails last night it caused an immediate load on the server which resulted in constant "Server Busy" messages.

Intermittent busy messages would be the result of BigSoccer's traffic and/or a spike in our own.

DB what possible reason would I have for having a "story" about this problem? When you have your own site with such a large amount of traffic then maybe your snide comments will have some weight. Until then please don't parade your ignorance, if only for your own sake.

I seem to get the same big footy email 4 times everytime. That can't be helping.

Ignorance? It is something you (or was it 'Bluey') claimed is the reason for the server busy messages. Hardly 'snide', what I would call snide is if I started abusing members of your family, however I refuse to sink to your level.

I find it difficult to believe the things you write because on various issues, you tell us plebs one thing and the moderators another.

No I agree, but I still maintain that Arnotts Milk Coffee biscuits are an unfairly maligned biscuit and shouldn't be left lingering at the bottom of the office biscuit tin.
