If we were chasing a win that is probably our best team. One less tall in the forwardline makes sense in the wet.

Shame we don't have Chappy and Rooke. Their hardnosed style would be handy in the wet.

Batel, Ling, Corey, Ablett & Kelly should be able to smash Port's lightweight midfeild. Might be handy to put Mooney in the middle for a little while too.

I would have thought going North with a few less talls would be the way to go and I understand that Tenance is still not right? Surely Varcoe must be given a run.

I haven't seen too much top end footy but whenever I watch the NT league I have noticed that there aren't too many giants running about up there. Might be a good match to leave the King to sit on his throne.

I'd drop Blake too and give West a run. Has anyone else noticed that when Blake has the ball now, the opposition drop off him and cover the close targets as everyone now knows he will always look to handball? His preference to handball wouldn't help in the monsoonal conditions in Darwin.

only when it is compared to the weather in perth, adelaide, sydney and the gold coast
