Would be handy inclusions. On form probably would be in top 22 right now. Thomas is at least good enough to be considered on our midfields current form and Keefe has attributes we lack. Hope they are keeping their fitness up.

They'll help our depth somewhat. Keefe more so than Thomas. Thomas will simply add to a midfield that has no idea how to win centre clearances.

At least Keefe will add some flexibility to our forward/back/ruck situation.

Keeffe in particular would be handy; his kicking combined with Reid's would open up our defensive transition. Thomas plays an area we are less deficient in, but again he has some pace, and an inside/outside balance which we could use right now.

I just hope Keeffe isn't in the same mindset Thomas displayed when abusing our supporters over social media for his own stupidity.

Both a druggies I don't even want to see back in the team. They deserve to be booed for their actions if they are so great they are costing us right now.
I don't believe we would be in a better psotion with them, whose spot do they take in the 22 and would they change any of the losses? No.

Another poster on BigFooty claims he received a private message on Facebook, I believe it was, outing a number of other Collingwood players for recreational drug use and calling the BigFooty member a cnut amongst other things. I have no reason not to believe this person.

Is he? I remember distinctly in 2014 that he seemed to have stagnated, was soft at the contest and while his kicking was decent, his decision making was slow and average.

He's not the answer to our problems, and I don't see a place for him in the team with Reid and Brown both fit.

Keeffe is a terrible footballer, mostly because he's the wrong size for any role. He's too short and lacking in mongrel to play ruck and too tall and immobile to play in defence. Yes, for his size he's a lovely kick but so what? He rarely takes a contested mark and I've seen battleships with tighter turning circles! The moment the ball hits the ground, he becomes a massive liability. Clever forwards know to lead him under the ball then turn and beat him back to it. It works nearly every time.

Is there a best-22 key defender at any team that is as tall, or taller, than Keeffe? I'd much rather springy, quicker mobile defenders who "play tall" and can run off their opponents or get across to help a team-mate, like Reid, Frost, Marsh and even Goldsack.

Thomas....shows glimpses but has never seized a best-22 spot, despite being on our list for years, much like Seedsman, Sinclair & Kennedy. He'd be an upgrade on Blair and Macaffer though!

Meh. Keefe had like half a good season once. Thomas had a couple of good games a couple of years ago. They havent played in 2 years (more for Keefe from injury?) so doubtful they would be top 22 right now. May as well say "if Swan didnt break his leg he would be a handy inclusion. On form probably would be in top 22 right now."
