Thommo's game today

Great Game.

Been under the pump, especially by boofhead McDermott because his form isnt as good as his blistering season last year, but today was all class.

Good clean touches, and his attacking presence inside the forward 50 made him look dangerous every time the ball went near him. Showed a bit of mongrel, which is what we need, and also that he should not be under-estimated as a forward.

Great stuff Thommo, 21 possies 3 goals.

I'd be more inclined to say the Burton fumbled the pass.
Good game from Scotty but I never jumped off his bandwagon like many have over the last 2 weeks.

Burton shouldn't have passed it off to Thommo in the first place. He should have had more common sense to stay there himself and kick the goal.

But Thommo was great! Was good to see him actually try string a game together... At least this week we won't have anybody calling for him to be dropped, etc.

Loved Thomo's game. Isn't it great to have some midfielders who are very strong overhead for their size. It just gives your forward line a lot more flexibility. Goody and Thomo always looked dangerous in the forward line.

That grab up forward in the third was a beauty. Still missed an easy shot at goal, but other than that definitely back to his best.
