When you refer to the 4-5 threads being rehashed are you referring to the weekly threads? Prematch/Mattys matchday/postmatch/snoops player review/didaka medal?

Yeah, sorry Quicky (and other mods) I should have been clearer. I don't mean over-merging as in the act of merging threads by moderators, but more in the passive sense by posters, who may have a thought or topic they wish to discuss, but end up posting it in a match day thread, or pre-match thread, etc.

I certainly don't think the mods were too active in merging activity, just to be clear - it was more the posters who probably felt compelled to put their posts into a bigger bucket thread.

It just got a little more bland in my opinion when there seemed to really be only 4-5 threads bouncing around, but there were so many unique thoughts / topics contained within them. You just couldn't get a sense from looking at the forum board.

Having looked at a few other club,s board,s on here I do think the Collingwood board is a well run and pretty liberal place other club,s supporter,s can generally come on here and be a given a fair go which is not the case on all boards.
Coming from Qld I find I get any and all my info from my time on this board which is great because up here the "Broncos" rule and everything is geared for that.The Pies would be the best known of all AFL clubs here aside from Brisbane but AFL fans are not catered for here.

I do feel that both Matty,s123 and Dave 86 are both entitled to their own threads anybody that goes to that much effort to preview the clubs upcoming matches deserve to have them read by as many people as possible and I really enjoy both previews and Kudos to both much appreciated by me.

I would not like to see it the board changed or moderated differently I am very happy with how it is atm if I was not I would not come here and post,we do not need to change things for the sake of change only for the betterment.
