Ticketek ticket selection

Hi,

Trying to buy tix for our game with Carlton, I'm an international member so trying to upgrade one of my free home games.
I'm picking reserved seating or premium reserved seating in the category but then its giving me tickets in m1 or m51, saying that's the best available. That's in the end the Carlton fans will be yup, but the ticketek website doesn't seem to have an option to pick the seat you want and this best available crap keeps putting me away from the pondsford stand.

Am i just gonna have to suck it up or is there a way to pick a seat closer or in the ponsford end?

You've probably picked the wrong game to try and get seats in the Ponsford stand, I'd say this would be the one game where most of our reserved seating area on both the bottom and second levels would have been fully booked out in that area, as it's both a home game and the game everyone wants to be at.

My advice would be to ring Tickemaster though (Ticketek do Etihad) and see if one of their operators can help you get a seat further round in the Southern Stand (m9-m15 is now also a Collingwood area for home games).

It is actually Ticketek for the MCG, Ticketmaster do Etihad. I am having the same problem, we like to sit on the top deck of the Ponsford, but it is not coming up. I just called Ticketek, waited on hold for 40 minutes, to be told that they haven't released the Ponsford yet and won't until public sales. So much for being our stand!

Just need to keep trying on the website.

Yeah, you are right about Ticketmaster and Ticketek, I get them confused all the time.

It sounds like it's now a matter of whether you want to take the risk of waiting to see if they release the Ponsford tickets or just take what they have on offer now. In one way it might be fun sitting near the Carlton hordes, especially if we win.

I really hope they don't flood the ponsford with carlton fans like last year.
We had carlton supporters all over the place on level 1 and Level 2.

Well I sucked it up in the end and just bought a ticket. In the Dry Bay, Section M7

Why is Ticketek such a pain in the a$$ with how tickets are sold. Ticketmaster is so much easier, letting you pick the actual seat.

ooh is that the go now??? I had a real bitch a both of them last year telling them they were outdated and still in the 80's.... they must have taken notice

evidently NM have bought several thousand cardboard cutout people that they errect for every home game to give the illusion that they have members attending the game...

I think that's about the 50m line up the pies cheer squad end. should be ok.
