Members of the public should be aware that under the terms and conditions of all AFL tickets, tickets may not be on sold for a premium or used in promotions or competitions without the prior authorisation of the AFL.
Furthermore, the Toyota AFL Grand Final is a Declared Event under the Sports Event Ticketing (Fair Access) Act and accordingly it is an offence under this Act and the AFL's Grand Final Ticket Scheme to on sell AFL Grand Final tickets for a premium without the prior authorisation of the AFL.

Coincidence?

Wow. Nice police work. Haywood is a criminal. lol.
not sayin he is, but i remembered seeing that earlier today and I know there are another say 10-15 seats in the bay/row but seems like a pretty big coincidence to me.

Yeah it seems a bit sus, but it could be a coincidence.

Probably just a coincidence. Haywood doesn't seem like the type at all.

54,000 tickets sold so far. You cannot get AFL membership seats other than up in the gods. Don't expect to roll up and get a decent seat - get onto Ticketmaster asap. All 15,000 Roos supporters have probably bought theirs already!

I went to buy my tickets as a Geelong member. Was on the phone to ticketmaster from 9 till I got through at 930 on Monday but at $60 bucks a ticket for relatively ordinary seats I thought I'd wait the extra day and buy them in the AFL allocation. I went in to Ticketmaster in Canberra on Tuesday (there's only one) - I arrived a about ten minutes early and was the only one there. Paid $12 or so a ticket for better seats than I would have gotten through the Cats allocation.

The system is nuts.
