Here with a mate from Canada who has never been to a game. Looking for 2 tickets for today's game. Can anyone help? I'm happy to pay for them. Was hoping to sit somewhere else other than amongst the Swans cheersquad, which seem to be the only tickets available on ticket master.

The best atmosphere at games is in standing room. Buying a ticket in the Swans cheer squad allows you access to all the standing room. May not be your best choice, but it's better than missing out all together. Good luck.

P.S quite often there's more tickets available early at the gate.

does anyone know if my gold membership card can just be scanned at the gate next week at the mcg? seem to remember something like that? i tried to get a ticket online but it didnt give me the option of printing one, only upgrading my ticket to a better seat.

Have often thought that the ticketing system can't be counting correctly as when I have gone when there are big crowds it is always 5K less than what I would estimate. Even counting the scattering of empty seats it just doesn't add up.
You can't tell me that there were 13, 000 empty seats there today.

Only if it's an Essential Crows/Premier AAMI Stadium Membership (either gold or silver) or a Victorian based membership.

All other members have to buy a ticket - which you can do at the gate.

It's ~51,200.
Was 51,515 but it dropped a few hundred a few years back.
