Hi,

I am a Hawks member and looking to come over to WA for the game against Freo later in the season.
I was wondering what is my best option for getting tickets to this game, when do they go on sale etc?
If you guys could help me out that would be great.

I expect there will be very few tickets available for that game.

The Hawks should be able to help you out get tickets as a member. Certainly check with the club before you arrange flights !

It is unfortunate that travellers from interstate can miss out on tickets when they come here as both teams have members so near capacity for the stadium.

Seated memberships are very close to capacity, so there are very few seats available for general admission. They typically go on sale a week or two before the game, but you might have more luck trying to get tickets through your club.

PS. Despite Perth being a beautiful beachside town, our stadium is a shithole compared to anywhere you have ever watched footy before. Just letting you know so you can lower your expectations.

I think the WA based hawks members enter into a ballot to get access to the clubs allocation.
All games at the MCG and Etihad (Except Rd 23) go on sale early next week, but I couldn't find any details on the Paterson's stadium games.
Two weeks doesn't allow much time to organise flights, accommodation etc does it?
Surely they could put the tickets up for sale at least a month in advance.

What will the capacity of the new Perth stadium be once it is completed?

About 70,000 in 2024.

This, and it's easier than you think. Outside of derbies, i've never heard of anyone that ever had a problem buying tickets to any match if they were online on the Monday 2 weeks before the game.

As long as you're not fussy where you sit you'll be fine.

I was actually referring mainly to Eagles games. Despite the cries that tickets are impossible to get, it's not that hard if you're organised.

Last year the Collingwood game sold out only the day before the game from memory but later on in the year when we got on a roll games were selling out almost the 2 weeks before the game, bandwagoners..
