Great win guys was such an intense game I've lost my voice.
You have such a great future just about every goal or even score you have is a direct result of the awesome foursome...Martin, Cotchin, Riewoldt and Nahas. No joke re watch the match.
Just need a few guys like Deledio, Houli, Foley, Miller etc. to play well also like they did today and you will always be in the match.

Free kicks 27 - 19 their way.

hahah you should see the north board they are in meltdown claiming the umpires and commentators were against them.

good 3qtr effort by our blokes those are the ones we need to win

Dustin Martin, future champion.

Hold that thought... He's already a champion! Would give my left leg for him! You lot have a good future ahead of you. Cotch, Lids (if Hardwick throws him in there!) and Martin is a star studded young, gun midfield. :D

Yup they should be upset. They only had 8 more free kicks and a couple they got were just disgraceful.

Great game you guys. You guys were awesome out there. Nahas is a star. I would have him at Arden street in a heartbeat.

Don't take this posted for granted. I rarely, (If ever) give other teams compliments.

Can't work out how we won that game, Deledio, Newman and a few others were very average. North will be kicking themselves letting that go, could be a long year ahead for them.

Was a good win and we didn't even play very well. Not sure if Mcguane is in our future plan.. he is not upto afl standard. Not aware enough when he has the ball and cant kick good enough. His second half was better thoe..

Any north supporters reading this - if you are as dumb as the north supporters ringing in on SEN about the martin free kick GET A GRIP! It was a clear free kick for a knee in the back. Not for high contact. Martin did not get rewarded for ducking his head, and swallow was about 1 second off a free for holding the ball if it wasnt for the knee to the back. As has been said numerous times in this thread, 27-19, many of which were far more dubious.

Umpire 21 Simon Meredith almost cost us the game - I'd love to see a break down of the frees he gave against Tigers compared with the other 2 maggots. The crowd there were going to crucify him (easter pun intended)

because of Reiwoldt, Martin, King, Nahas & Conca.

I thought Rance did a great job in the 2nd half also - got smacked by Petrie early, but managed to still have a positive impact in the 2nd half - well done:thumbsu:

Wow, never thought I'd hear that. Nahas was pretty good. He needs to play similar to this every week though. Consistency is the key. Especially because of his small frame he can become a liability. Was ordinary last week.

That corolla bloke should be able to help you out with that he lives for those sorts of numbers:p

Newman was hurt, you're right Lids was average, but he did turn on when we needed it in the last quarter

Left the misus and kids inside at the inlaws having tea and went and sat in the car for the last qtr:thumbsu::thumbsu::D. Top effort by Nahas and Martin:thumbsu: the biased commentary from shaw, Walls and co did little to dampen my enthusiasm for the effort the team put in today. Seriously does everyone out there hate us that much? They lauded Petrie every time he went near it but struggled to applaud Martin:thumbsd:

Oh and what did Jacko do? All the commentators would say was that he will go for a couple of weeks but not so much as a hit, bump or punch?

Just home from game and thought I'd jump on the bigfooty Dustin Martin train. F*** me! I'd love to hear what some other older tigers fans reckon but that's got to be the most dominant performance I've seen from a Richmond player inside 30 games.
Couple of other things that I loved. Thought Brad Miller was bloody fantastic. I know he's not a part of the future etc etc but aside from his game(reminded me of him about 2002 when I really rated him) were his efforts. That's exactly the example and leadership Dimma would have been hoping for when he added him to the list.some blokes will play 100 games more in a Richmond jumper than him and not have the influence he had tonight. Not just on the result but just his example.
I liked an effort from Ben Nason about 12 min last term too, he copped an errant handball at halfback at a crucial stage and found himself in a spot where many other tigers have found themselves in the last ten years and decided on a different course of action to him, which was to just take whatever punishment was neccesary for the team and cover for his mates error. Loved it.
And Jake King? I just dips my lid every week now.

I stated in another thread that if the Richmond mids and JR got off the hook that we would be in a world of trouble and that is exactly what happened.

After quarter time we were outran, outmarked, outcoached and given a lesson in skill execution.

Congratulations on a good win, you guys are well on the way.
