Please Rocket don't look this thread.
I suggest you stop listening to the radio, and what commentators may say & actually watch the game.
Sadly for us as supporters he won't make the grade.

Very worthy defender and will continue to improve. Kicking wise (which I think is a little susceptible), if the lad plays within his limitations, then I don't see a problem.
To explain, with regards to using the footy, he just needs to take the safe options wherever possible (just as Morris seems to) as opposed to the more adventurous - leave the creativity to the Gilbs, Griffs etc.
Do that and you minimise your deficiencies and add more value to the team.
Cherry-picking is fun. I'd like to know if Cross, Boyd, Lake, or even Gilbee would stand up to this kind of scrutiny. All these players have made many mistakes under pressure (Lake still gives me heart attacks sometimes). Its not the mistakes a player makes its the way the respond.I think you should have a good look yourself at the Prelim final....
1):- handballed directly to Steve Johnson : who goaled
2):- Kicked into the man on the mark fortunately the turnover only resulted in a point......
No good under pressure
I don't doubt his endeavour, just his ability

Also all the people saying he'll never be a star, did Boyd, Cross, Gilbee, Lake, or Hahn look like stars after 17 games of football?
Thanks for all the feedback fellas.....
The next 21 weeks will tell the story.....
I hope I'm wrong....however as I said previously has not got the ability!!!!!!
Cheers
Snagboy
Lets just agree to disagree hey?
But it seems like Snagboy is the closest to a definitive knocker Tiller has on this thread.
Rockets way too smart a coach to play a guy who cannot play.
I'd like to see Tiller come off the bench (Not quite sure he is a definitive starter), play down back and maybe pinch-hit up foward.
Snagboy is entitled to his opinion just like everyone else on this sight and i have seen worse knocking with Wight earlier this year.
Snagboy is a champion fella one one SUNSHINE YC's finest old boys.

What has that got to do with this discussion Algy?
Nothing at all except i know the man! what i should have said is that a lot of his threads are tongue in cheek because he does enjoy a stir and friendly banter with other Bulldog people.![]()
Every doggies supporter knows Tiller will never reach superstar status, but what he brings to the side is ideal for what we are trying to achieve.
He is hard at it and always gives 110%, what he lacks in talent he makes up for in endeavour.
I hope he is in our side all year, cos he has the ability to shut down his opponent through his hardness and allows our more creative defenders do what they do best.
I can never question this blokes intent and that's what makes him so valuable. There is no point having a team of superstars if the 2nd tier players let the rest down, this bloke compliments the exquisite silky skills of Griff, Higgo and Gilbee with uncompromising effort.
Tillers twice the back man Everitts(play him on the wing Rocket) ever going to be, he adds height and weight to an area we were once deficient(now our strength) and means our defence can adjust to handle any forward line(once Callan is back).
Congratulations you've just been nominated for the worst post of the 2009 season.![]()
Re: Ins and Outs
(quote=PIGDOG)
In: Callan
Out: Tiller or Everitt
I would give Murphy a run at Willi before he comes in.
I guess it depends on how our players pull up as playing at Subiaco can be pretty taxing so we may need to make a couple of more changes.
WHERE ARE YOU COMMING FROM PIGDOG:
ON SUNDAY YOU SAY HE SHOULD BE DROPPED, (SEE ABOVE)
YET ON TUESDAY YOU SAID ITS THE WORST POST OF 2009.....
Just a note for the others:
I suggest you look at the team for Sunday.......
Cheers
Horses for courses. Tiller, Everrit, Harbrow, Hill, Ward, Reid, Picken and a couple off others will be in and out off the side all year. North have three small guns and Eade is going to shut them down with the likes off Tim Callan, Picken, and probably Hargrave. Getting dropped for this game does not prove your point and I'll put money on it Tiller will play plenty off games this year.
