Out of all the rejects that have been floated around, its definately not the worst proposal. But its still a no.

I would take Clarke over Hyde, but thats not saying much. If we can find a spot on our list for Clarke, but not find one for Meyer, then l'd be appalled.

So its a polite no, rather than a flat out tell your story walking.

I have kept an eye on his career as I tend to do with most Tassie boys. He has actually had a pretty good go at Hawthorn I thought and in fact has done much better than I expected at AFL level. 100% goer but as has been said, we have just cut a couple I would rate higher.
