Read in the newspaper today the two players reported to have had a run-in with each other at a hairdressing salon were one Chris Egan and another Leon Davis.
Sketchy details but what I can make of it is Chris Egan walked into the salon to find Leon Davis inside with his girlfriend. Egan promptly struck his missus and chased Leon down the street, the former proving to have more toe.
When the storm died down, seems Leon Davis and his wife were innocently together shopping when they ran into Egan's partner, and the two were merely chewing the fat after bumping into each other unexpectedly.
Messrs Egan has hardly set the world on fire since being drafted at pick 7 in 2004 has played a mere 25 games and never held onto a regular senior position. Has had a couple of scrapes off field including breaking curfew with Davis last year, now even that Aboriginal brotherhood has seemingly crumbled beyond repair. Egan has been criticised for not showing enough effort on the football field and seems to be rapidly becoming the black sheep of the Collingwood playing list.
However, at his best he is a polished and skilful footballer.
Time for us to cut our losses and move on?
What would he be worth on the draft table one wonders.
Or can he turn it around?

Herald Sun would come in handy at that stage.
