We're all hurting like hell and could add a chapter to the generation of woe that has been the RFC in the last 30 years...I'm putting a stake in the ground right now and won't be adding anything more to that shit heap of a game. I've said enough, don't want to say anymore that I might regret. I'm much more interested in how this group responds against the bummers...that's what i wanna talk about...who's IN:thumbsu:

booked my tickets after the lions game and now i am little nervous :o

Found this thread languishing at the bottom of the page, don't think there is much appetite for settling down.

Personally I reserve the right to castigate all and sundry before having a complete volte face after we spank the Bombers.;):D

I came on yesterday late and after reading the doom, glolom and pessimistic tripe it sapped out any desire to post anything. Our kids are just hitting the wall, just like Essendon's and Melbournes have already. Just a raincheck on expectations and a reset. Christ we need a ruckman.....time to go buy one like Collingwood and Geelong all.

you're not wrong olly, Hamish McIntosh, welcome to TIGERLAND...with our luck we prob need to recruit two...no doubt our BIG fish would incur some crippling injury that would have us ****ed 1 year into a $$$$ 4 year deal:o if it's not the worst broken leg in history, it's two knoees in 12 mths ot a blood clot or an archilles

Given McIntosh's recent injury, its actually pretty likely
I wouldn't want to throw massive money at him when we can get a ruckman using free agency in 12-18 months time

Hey TT, I totally suspect this has happened also. Have been waiting for it, and will acknowledge it. I'm pretty sure that's why Conca was lucky enough to be out this week, rested I'd suspect.

BUT, I'm sorry, this still doesn't explain yesterday's result at all. This would be a valid excuse for maybe half a dozen players IMO, and would explain a 50-60 point loss. As I have said in other threads, if the beltings we have copped from Carlton in the past three years aren't enough to have our blood boiling when we run through the banner, then it will likely never happen. And until it does happen, we will continue to be embarrassed by them. I expected to be well and truly in the game at half time, and figured we'd struggle to stay with them after that, for reasons stated above. You are not "hitting the wall" at the first three or four centre bounces of a match, yet it was obvious at that point to most of us what was unfolding :(

Wednesday morning at the earliest. Monday am will not be fun

If we, heaven forbid, back up yesterday with another insults effort on Saturday night then there will be some epic toy throwing

I want to move on, just too soon for me

I forgot the game by half-time, i turned off the tv and played some Call of Duty.
Yesterdays game hurt for a lot of fans i gt it but seriously the shit i have heard and read since the game is bloody ridiculous. It's a minor setback in what has been a more positive season than what any has in previous years. I get that fans are hurt after the loss but can't we at least wait till the end of season or if we have another couple 100 point floggings before judging where we are at as a club.

I'm with you BJ, CBF thinking about last week end, so it's all now about beating the bombers.
Go Tiges.

If you think Saturday's performance was a minor setback then you're kidding yourself! :thumbsd:

This loss will reverberate for quite some time. Monday morning and I'm still furious. Those 22 frauds wearing the yellow and black should be flogged on the track this week. I don't care if it wears them out or not.

That performance was not something Hardwick should accept and nor should he "bin" it. It needs to be reviewed and those frauds who paraded around as footballers should be held to account for that performance.

Hardwick said when he was appointed that the jumper would never hit the floor as long as he was coach. Well Dimma, sorry to say but not only did it hit the floor but 22 players pi$$ed on it too.:thumbsd:

For the first time in my life I'm almost embarrassed to support Richmond. Just sickening that effort.

Thursfield today was woeful. Showed why he had no currency on the trade table and embarrassed himself after wanting to leave. How the hell did he expect to be given a better go at another club if he's going to perform like that when finally given an opportunity??

Hislop put yet another nail in his coffin.

Browne took a huge step backwards.

Helbig being selected over Tuck proved to be nothing short of a disgrace. Hardwick's biggest fail in his short coaching career. He's obviously not ready for AFL, yet Tuck pulls 37 disposals in the VFL and can't get in?!

Newman went missing in a game where we needed our captain to show the way. Usually a consistent performer, but can hang his head in shame after that.

Rance went back to 2010. Deer in headlights when the team's struggling.

Cotchin and Martin showed they're still a long way from being elite. Not good enough to missing when we're getting thrashed.

I can only hope that some day in my life we have a team that is at least average at laying a tackle. How the **** do we get beaten that badly and still end up MILES behind in the tackle count?!

There's my venting. We'll be smacked by Essendon next week.

Fair enough point on Cotchin & Martin but some people forget that Martin just turned 20 and Cotchin is 21. A couple more pre-seasons and we have nothing to worry about with these two. It's the other dead set hacks on our list we need to worry about. Edwards, Hislop, Thursfield. Deadwood!

Yeah completely agree with everything there. I'd just like to see Cotch and Martin performing in a tough match like that, they've set themselves a very high standard.

At least someone else sees right through Edwards. Hardwick needs to wake the **** up if he has him miles ahead of Tuck!!! Worst automatic selection in the entire AFL!!

+1 this sums up how i feel. im that dirty on the club at the moment. after pumping the game up, staying it was one of the most important games in our history, throw in big $$$$ to ftf, upgrading my membership to social club to give the club a little more money. to put out a heartless preformace like that realy digs deep. i use to be so passionate about the tigers, never stop talking about them, im at a point where im not fazed anymore, cost me $40 just to get to the game with petrol, etag and parking its just not worth it anymore. rather stay home and watch it on the tv. least then i can change the chanel

Okay than we are shit, woeful nothing has changed in 30 years blah blah blah . I guess we are not aloud to try and be positive here without getting shot down.

I think you guys should be more worried about next weeks response.

Hardwick did the right thing not bothering with a review. Write it off as a shit game and load up for next week.

If you put up a similar effort NEXT week, then I'd be worrying a lot more.

Remember, Geelong got pumped by us in 08 by 86 points. They wrote that off and continued on their merry way. It's all about how you respond.

I agree with what you're saying here, the week against Essendon will say we have either improved or the start to the season has been a fantasy. I thought it was 07 when you guys hammered Geelong???

Could not have said it better mate. The heat is on both the players and the coaching panel this week to see how we respond. Would not want to be another 10 goal pumping...
