Bannister is usually up there. Gibbs came 4th in the second time trial last year as well.
small man with a small motor.

last year suntan Terry asked Craig Mottram to join the Tiges for their time trial.
He gave them all a 2 min start, ran past the leader ( Foley I think ) like he was standing still, and won by a fair margin.
Not bad in a trial lasting approx 13 mins.
It shows how far all AFL footballers have to go in really pushing their bodies past what they think are their limits.
That was the whole reason he was invited
ye, true
carlton have a fairly fit team, but obviously struggled the latter period of this year.

Yeah ...thats what it was ...it was our fitness !!!

Motram does the tan in just over 10mins, any footballer who does it in under 14 is doing very well, so getting reeled in isn't anything to be ashamed about.
Setanata and Aisake finnished side by side last year, midfield IIRC.
Waite did quite well also.
Ackland was a dud in the time trial ( came near last in 06 )......shyte I hate him.
Betts struggles
I'm sure Mottram would cry like a female refugee if slammed into the ground in a Waite tackle though, too, so it's horses for course.
