Im leaning towards Bock and Johncock as our only AA's

I agree, I think people are rating Vince a little to much at this stage. He had a great year last year when he wasn't the centre of attention. He will be the primary tagging target this year, to early to judge his output.

Bock when fit is easily the best CHB in the AFL and arguably our best players. He will slot in if he plays a full season to his usual standard.

Johncock has to play the way he did last year and have a few things fall his way and he could make it. He certainly deserves a spot in the team at some stage.

If Bock stays injury-free and plays at his best, he is almost a certainty for CHB. Porplyzia, Vince and Johncock are good chances as well, and if he has a huge season like Franklin in 2008, then Tippett could be a chance as well as Knights. Mackay and Dangerfield won't be an AA just yet (but definitely in the next few years)

Bock, Vince, Mackay, Tippett all to make the shortlist. People might be underestimating how good a year we could be in for, the first three are real shows.

Only Bock. Would like to say Stiffy, but just seems like he isn't noticed over in Victoria. Wouldn't be suprised to see Goodwin in there either going on recent years selections.

I agree that he's yet to put in a full year at the highest echelon yet, but the thing that makes me lean towards him being a chance is that he played his best footy when he was given the most attention. His form towards the end of last season was scintillating, and it coincided with him taking over from Thompson as the number one tagging priority in our team.

If his 2010 looks like the end of his 2009 season I'd say he'd be a monty to make the AA team.

I agree, he's got to be the clear favourite... it's not like he hasn't done it before...

Also you'd think Bock, for the same reason.

In with a chance if they smash it this season: Porps, Tippet, Thommo, Vince, Stiffy, Rutten.

Bock, Goodwin, Tippett.

Time will tell, but if we go all the way it will be because most of the players mentioned in this thread will have been playing at AA standard.

The Porpus if we can get him on the Park
D Mac - he is going to be a gun
Big Kurt
and My Roughie is Rodney Dangerfield... in years to come I think he'll be a regular in the AA team but I think he is still learning about how good he could be

Bock - If he is fit and healthy there isn't a better CHB in the game

Tippett - He is in for a massive year. He is just about on the verge of becoming unguardable.

Porplyzia - if he is fit and firing, there are not many better small forwards in the game

Vince - If he can get to the next level of being effective with a heavy tag, he will make it.

Goodwin - if he can stay fit, he is just about as good a HBF as there is in a game.

Roughy: Mackay - I think this is his breakout year and he might well sneak an AA selection
