Had a match on Jan 2, 4 days of messages, date on Jan 6, kissed and made out at the end, she drops me at the airport the next day and that girl is now my GF. I feel pretty lucky

Well a fairly dramatic fall from grace. She picked me up at the airport Monday afternoon, I stayed at her place and slept with her (but no sex) but felt pretty comfortable with how I spent the two days with her. Plenty of snuggling, great night of wine induced chats with her roommate, fun game of tennis the following day. The lack of sex was probably a big tell in hindsight but I was in the moment still feeling good.
She drops me home around 4pm on the tuesday, then get a FB message 90 minutes later saying because of her childhood memories with her disabled sister it was too overwhelming with me there
, partly impacted by her anxiety and being overwhelmed easily.But our messages were so tight while I was away, whether it was about commitment and how reassured we both were about each other, sex, being flirty, and how excited we both were for my return, i never saw it coming that it would over so ****ing quick. Especially when I was told she wasn't dating me because of my disability or wouldn't call things off because of the disability. But her first reason to call it off was the link between her disabled sister and how difficult it was looking after her.
Was pretty shattered cause she the first person I properly dated. Very distressed when I first read the messages at 5:30pm, Wednesday I was ok but Thursday had two meltdowns, not just about her but a multitude of things in my life. It was nice to come up with some plans for this year to get me out there and meet more people.
We took things way too quick but both of us seemed comfortable in that decision. Our messages were ultra connected before our date, the date went well and all through the 3 weeks we kept that connection and excitement going. Maybe because she promised the world, when reality hit with me in her home it was too hard to deliver it with her illness.

That sucks man, sometimes it just doesn't work out. I met an awesome girl about six months ago, we had several awesome dates and then she just stopped contacting me altogether. While it will suck and feel bad for a few days you will move on and find the right person for you

Our relationship, which is how we described it, only lasted 28 days so in the grand scheme of things it wasn't a tragic ending. But it meant a lot to me because it was the first girl I've had and we both seemed so reassured about the future before I got home. Me being interstate for tennis comp made us really eager to do something special when I returned rather than the traditional method of 4-5 dates etc.
Never could I have predicted she would flip that quickly based on how we interacted.

Haven't been on tinder (and maybe this thread) for at least a year now, is it still as shit as it use to be? Contemplating my long awaited return. Hopefully to a rousing reception.
