Don't really like Tinder but it's kind of default option. Everyone is on so you kind of have to jump on if you're options are limited socially. Otherwise it's approach randoms

Yeah I know a few couples who met on tinder/bumble. Two are engaged, others are heading that way. The whole 'it's only for easy hook ups' thing is getting close to OK boomer territory at this point.

I just think we're at a point where Tinder isn't that much different to heading out on the weekend. You're chasing after (or being chased by) someone you think is attractive, and that may lead somewhere or it may not. It won't ever be as good as meeting someone in person, but saying it can't be taken seriously is a bit out of touch. I mean, how many dancefloor pashes/one nighters/swapped numbers actually lead to marriage anyway?
